A playschool is a transition from a home to a school, a second home for a child where a child should feel physically and emotionally safe.
Our school provides children with the opportunity to engage in age appropriate learning experience which focus on overall development of a child
HOPSCOTCH playschool is montessori based preschool where emphasis is given on all five skills.
Sensorial skills: which helps the child develops all five senses.
Language and Art: Through the use of multitude of activities a child learns all four skills of language.
Mathematics: All activities incorporate the use of concrete materials, they learn to count and systematically progress to solving complex problems.
Culture and science:The child learns the basics of all subjects like zoology, botany, geography, etc.
Practical life skills:The child is introduced to many creative practical life activities which helps the child in developing a sense of order, concentration, independence, confidence and self esteem.
A DAY AT HOPSCOTCH PLAYSCHOOL
- FREE PLAY: Where a child is free to choose his activity (sensorial activities & PRACTICAL LIFE SKILLS) this is important as providing choices is good for pre frontal lobe which controls the function like decision making confidence etc.
- CIRCLE TIME: Where children engage in oral activities like rhymes, musical play, stage acts which develops children in their communicative skills.
- CLASSROOM TIME:Where a child is given art and craft, language,mathematics,science activities.
- SNACK TIME:Where a child takes healthy snack gains some strength and gets ready for his end of the school activities.
- OUTDOOR PLAY TIME:Where a child gets wind up through many out door activities
